As a Director who loves making psychological thrillers with a dose of edgy humour, the Christmas special of Hollyoaks isn’t an obvious choice! However, working on these action-packed Christmas episodes of this hugely popular Channel 4 drama was an absolute honour, and I always relish projects that connect to a big audience. Big thanks to the wonderfully empowering Kieron O’Sullivan and my incredible crew and cast for their stellar work. None of this would have happened without the brilliantly supportive Philip Dodds, who gave me (and many) their first TV drama break.
