Sytch Farm Studios Jon & Gill are makers, from their studio they craft from clay, wood & metal. I had the pleasure recently to head down and spent a little time in their company and shoot a narrative to showcase the very best of what they do. I think time almost disappears when finding common ground, and that always seems to happen when meeting other creators. It makes the whole documentation so effortless and easy for my subject matter which is key to how I work. Not only do I want the viewer to feel like they are part of that moment but I also want my subject matter to feel so relaxed that they don’t even notice my camera. ‘Closer to Home’ will be an on going series of narratives based around local creators and producers, showcasing the very best of Shropshire and neighbouring counties, the borderlands of Wales.
