About me
Afeni is a London based creative, studying at University of The Arts London with a keen focus in using fashion as a tool to communicate editorial narratives as a form of activism. Afeni explores racial and gender issues and it’s affect on societal positioning and identity. Areas of interest are within creative direction and fashion communication. She aims to collaborate fashion and media to develop creative solutions to provoke awareness. Afeni is a developing artist, establishing her personal style and discovering her practise to challenge and contribute to how creative projects such as fashion shows and industry events use their platforms to form conversations around accessibility and diversity through immersive production. With a goal to be involved in projects from the ground up, her incentive is to help build ideas into visual realities. Her compassion for other people has driven Afeni's work in customer service and willingness to support and help in and out of the work place. She is a committed individual who strives for success, approaches new challenges with confidence and aims for positive change and impact within the creative industries.
