Senior Managing LifeguardRoyal National Lifeboat Institution
    Sheringham, UKFull Time
Senior Lifeguard at the RNLI where the four main values for staff are: trustworthiness, courage, selflessness and dependability. I worked closely with lifeguards as well as with lifeboat crews, HMS Coastguard and other emergency services. Lifeguarding requires a high level of fitness, resilience and knowledge of first aid, all skills which I had to use in numerous rescues and medical emergencies. I demonstrated my capability as a mentor and a leader, developing fellow lifeguards’ skills in communication, first aid, decision-making and self-confidence. I had to thrive in high-pressure situations, orchestrating rescues and handling my role as a responsible public figure with care.
