As an assistant at the Union Pacific gallery, I’m responsible for administration, online marketing and the handling of the database. This role has provided me with more insight into the operational level of an art gallery, but I have also used initiative to propose my own personal project for the gallery, which involves collaborating with the Budapest-based Everybody Needs Art initiative, a progressive gallery agency committed to promoting Hungarian talent internationally, and working on shared projects such as an exhibition at the Budapest-space in the spring of 2018.

As a third-year Liberal Arts student at King’s College London, I have had the privilege of studying a broad range of subjects, ultimately focusing on History and Art in my further studies. My time at King’s has allowed me to expand my interest in art into an academic pursuit, reflected in my choice of dissertation in Caribbean Contemporary Art, and in the various modules in the History, Film and English departments that I have had the opportunity to study, such as Issues in Contemporary Art, Surrealism and American Underground Art and Cinema

     - New York, United States
I studied abroad for a semester at the New School in New York, a liberal arts college where I was exposed to a much more pervasive insight into the art industry. During my time there, I progressed from visiting exhibitions and engaging curators in informed conversations, to organising my own exhibition with students from the Parsons School of Design. Alongside this, I also chose to take courses in Curating, Art History and Art Management, in which I gained significant insight into the fundamentals of running a business in the arts, and studied the economic implications of those businesses. As part of my Art Management course, I researched business models of New York-based non-profit art organisations and proposed marketing strategies to improve their performance
