A more detailed look at free work and learning to say now is now up on Medium
A while ago I made a post about the language used to try and manipulate us - but in particular young creatives - into working for free. After more research and talking to creatives, I expanded this here:

As the job market becomes less accessible and clients become privy to our concerns, it behoves us to better prepare ourselves for how clients may approach us in order to devalue us. And, as young creatives, you need to learn how to say no in a way with which you're comfortable.

- Brilliant read, great points and words of advice too! :)
- A very nice article, linked to other interesting reads. But I would argue that Fiverr is immoral, not amoral. They know what they are doing is wrong, it goes against acceptable norms.
- Brilliant piece! You put complex and frustrating thoughts into clear, captivating words that strike you like a bat to the head. Loved reading this x
- I had a chuckle recognizing some of those examples of call-outs for free work - this was a good read, thanks for sharing.
