Any advice on starting a youtube art page? My main focus would be speed drawings, sketching, art challenges, and vlogging.

Looking to begin in July, but will create content first beforehand so that I can post once a week.

  • A good person to check out might be Minnie Small on YouTube - she's done a great job of building a channel around those sorts of videos! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLcxo0ysMP27XTiRKqrdASg/featured

  • My advice would be that longform content performs better often that short youtube videos. So don't feel forced to cut great bits out just to make it 'not too long'. Good luck - it sound's amazing!
  • @Nygilia K. McClain Good luck with the project. Let me know when your YouTube content is ready.
  • Thank you guys! This really helps. Yeah, I have been trying to look at some artists and gain some flow ideas. I do mixed media and digital stuff so I want to make sure my engagement is effective.
  • @Bowo Adejuyigbe good points. Subscriber counts and views on YouTube take time to build up. People find you channel and then go through your catalogue to see what you’ve done.
