Any feedback on my website wording/copy etc greatly appreciated www.lolaandblake.co.uk

I also know my site could be hugely improved on SEO. I don't know where to start and I am constantly bombarded by people saying they can help and then when the pricing chat comes along I am blown away! I am a small start up and just don't have the budget!

  • @Kat Paterson-Browne not a problem. If you need a hand with copywriting or copy editing I'd be more than happy to help.
  • Hi Kat, hope all is well. I am no SEO expert but bits and bobs I could assist on? DM if interested :)
  • Hi Kat. SEO can be tricky as there are alot of off page factors to it. Probably best tp get an SEO specialst to have a look at it. Althernativly Moz have good SEO tutorials - https://moz.com/learn/seo

From a copy point of view I would make your headline more focused on the reader. e.g using your, instead of our. I would also move british designed into the body copy. And expand apon it there.

One of the things that is helpful to do with copy is to keep digging and asking why. Turn the feature into a benifit. Some people call it the 'So What?' test. And you do that quite well in the body copy.

I would say, although you use the + symbol in your brand name I would limit it's use there. It makes the copy flow/read weird.

    Hopefully that helps :)
