- Hi Kae! That depends what exactly do you want to achive. Brendon summed it up really well. It doesn't matter if you want to get a job or start something on your own, having a platform will help; website connected with social media. I'd add be genuine interested in the industry and make friends. Don't be scared to message people, email studios or go to events when that will be possible. You have to make your own luck.
- Start with a websitePost on socialCollaborate with recruiters
- Out where? (Who do you want to see it/ what’s your goal in people seeing it/ etc). If you have a type of audience in mind and what you want from them, it clarifies things. ((eg. a concept studio- see if you can find a concept artist willing to answer some questions via email or even buy them a coffee, and ask them about how they got their job, where/how they’ve been successful in showing their work. You might even be able to ask for feedback on your own stuff (*though this is a delicate line, you usually want to keep most of the conversation about them/ have done your homework on them first). )) hope this helps!
