Anyone can you give me advice how to get into the creative industry?

I am looking for graphic design position into creative indusrtry, but I do not know what is wrong with my portfolio.

I would be happy if someone helps or give me an advice.

  • Firstly, thank you for putting your work out there.
    Getting your work in front of as many eyes as possible is the best way to reach your desired goal.

    I believe your visual communication could be much stronger, here are some suggestions I could offer you in my humble opinion

    1. Your entire portfolio is a one page scroll down, with the first pages all texts. Leading with all the finished project images/boards first, then if someone is interested in one, they could click on it and see the design process.

    2. In all the "sketches" portions of your portfolio, you need to color correct, and have a uniform white background to the sketch, instead of a lot of different shades of gray.

    3. Readability: Review all the text and correct all the grammatical error and typos.

    4. Color palette: Size of text, font choice, font and background color does not fit visually for all campaigns.

  • I am not in a place to give any advice.
    But, just beleive in your work and put it there. So, step by step you'll break through. Enjoy the journey , forget about the big goal and celebrate every milestone.
