Art Directors, where do you find the illustrators you hire?
Of course there are platforms like The Dots, LinkedIn and more, and I’m always trying to keep on top of sharing my work across Instagram, my website etc... But really interested to know where Art Directors actually find who they hire? Wonder whether it’s while mood-boarding on Pinterest, or by Google keywords?

- That's a really good point. I'm commenting to follow.
- Art Directors are great to put york in front of, however aim for Creative Directors, Producrers, Account Managers as they’re ones likely to bring you in on projects. Most illustrators either have an agent or represented by an agency that focuses on illustrator who are recongised in the creative industry.https://theaoi.com/https://www.debutart.com/https://www.handsomefrank.com/https://www.ba-reps.com/It’s like The Dots would say betterhttps://workingnotworking.com/search/everywhere/members/illustrator
- Also, forgot to mention it helps a lot getting an agent. But they have very high standards so it's almost you have to have a follower count for them considering you.
- Hi Ellie,Doubt anyone using Google. It's mainly insta and pinterest really. You have to make serious effort to share your work at least 3 times a week. Also, the current market is very slow, so be prepared.
