One of my great interests as a lingering phantom of a book designer has been the complete devaluation of design by clients through the use of bidding sites - sites like Fiverr, Upwork, Reedsy, 99Design. In particular, whether any platform with this model can be ethical - spoiler: it can't. But read the article anyway. Validate me.
