Can anyone recommend best websites for uploading fashion portfolios to? It is for the purposes of sending to potential clients and employers

  • @Nadia Scullion Ah ok, that makes sense.

If it's about protecting ongoing work, you could create private pages that require a password on your site, and/or block those pages from showing up in search engines.

That way, you still send visitors to your website, which means they're more likely to also look at some of your public work.
(And you are likely going to increase organic visits to your website)

Ultimately, puting it on your website gives you more control of who can see it, how they can see it and still align it with the rest of your website, without people potentially being pulled to other people's work, irrelevant work, etc.
  • @Younes Annaki so helpful, thank you! I agree being able to show fullscreen and swipe is such a plus. Will make it almost feel like a physical portfolio!
  • Thanks for your input @Dhruve Shah
I have my own site to showcase finished collections but I also need a portfolio site where I can easily share design development work with prospective clients and employers by sending a link, while also not sharing all my ideas with the world at the same time :) Perhaps I should have made that clearer in my question.
  • In my opinion, any website that have the ability to show your work almost in fullscreen with the ability to swipe/slide on mobile and desktop, I am thinking Behance, Pinterest (a private board) or Adobe portfolio.
If you are willing to invest some money on that, my choice will be hands down having your own website, a lot of templates are avalaible in that field that you can take advantage of. Hope it helps!
  • Have you thought of having your own site for your portfolio? Not sure how common it is in the fasion industry, but could be worth looking into
