- A few:– The Boron Letters by Gary Halbert– The Gary Halbert Letter– Scientific Advertising by Claude Hopkins
- Real books. Instead of 'How I Sold A Million Widgets On Easter Island', books by the likes of Joan Didion, Kenneth Tynan, Pauline Kael, David Thomson, Luc Sante, Charles Simic and Janet Malcolm (to name a few), ie, real writing, real writers. Also poetry. Also, read for pleasure.
- @Olivia Greenway I'm always looking to make sure I'm on top of my game, so this will be useful! Thank you!
- For me the best resource has been working with a wide range of editors. You’ll find some editors just want to take your piece and fine-tune it themselves, but when you work with someone who’s willing to give feedback and nurture talent it’s the best possible learning opportunity :)
