Does anyone know a fab location sound engineer/sound mixer?

We're shooting a docu-series called Grime Pays, now in its 5th season, and we're looking to get a sound engineer on board to capture audio for it!

The series airs on GRM Daily and it follows a group of young people during a week-long experience where they learn how to make it in the music industry, ran by The Ruff Sqwad Arts Foundation.

Dates of the workshop are February 17th-21st 2020 (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm).

You can check out the series so far here: youtu.be/PrdSO_l3_xs

This (paid) role is ideal for a student, grad or junior-level or any level looking to be involved in charitable work! :)

  • Hey there,

Would love to put myself forward for this if the opportunity is still available.

I am a music producer and mix/master engineer who's worked alongside the biggest names in the UK industry (Wretch 32/Giggs/Lady Leshurr/Krept & Konan to name a few).

Sharing my knowledge with the youth is something i'm passionate about and do so in my personal life already.

I look forward to hearing from you,

    Best wishes.
  • Hello Annie,

hope you’re well and having a good day.
I would love to have a chat with you to see if we can possibly work together and how I can help.

A Little bit about me: I am a sound recordist and editor/mixer with over 7 years experience working on broadcast productions including tv drama, documentaries, commercials and feature film. Productions include Virgin Media Commercials, BBC drama, Nat Geo docs and Cartoon Network shows to name but a few.

I have attached some showreel material below for you to have a listen to. https://vimeo.com/276927758 https://vimeo.com/317995389
Let me know if you think I am suitable and we can take it from there.
Hope to hear from you soon!
    Biggest thanks,
    Liam
  • Hi Annie,

Sounds like a really interesting project.

Could you let me know where the location would be?
Also, would kit be provided or not?

Aside form myself I have a few people I could suggest, so feel free to message me to discuss further.

    Dan
