Generalised Portfolio VS Specialised Portfolio? Which one is better to send to employers?

So I had a lot of comments on my previous question about how I should maybe specialise my portfolio. Would appreciate feedback on my portfolios so that I know which portfolio is better to send to employers.

  • If it helps I would watch 'the futur' youtube channel which discuss this topic in great length. Very valuable content and I believe it could better help you understand what direction to go in more then I could in a message.
  • @Jessica Yeung It depends on the kind of job. In my experience most employers looking for specialists will mention this in the job ad... In which case send a specialised portfolio. Otherwise, and if your general portfolio is robust, just send that. You can always mention in your cover letter/email that you have specialised portfolios should they be necessary.
