Never occurred to me having this question in an interview.
Yes, and I was quite surprised as it was completely off topic during the interview. It was a behavioural insights company, funnily enough.
No, I haven't. But my friend asks interviewers - "Who is Anderson?" (about Wes Anderson). She has a small studio, where they make baby crib mobiles. It is important for her to work with like-minded people.
No, but I ask for instance:" Do you believe in UFO`s ?" It`s a really good question for getting a better overview of the new coming employee mind-openness. There wasn't a right or a wrong answer.
I have never had that question before but its a good question to ask. why might i ask
It is very interesting question indeed. It shows the employer what kind of personality you are ; soft -related to romantic and family movies, or strong -related to action and thriller movies. All the questions have an under connection with the employers desire to find out smth. Anyway, I did not have this kind of question. Only my therapist asked me that.
No I have not but it would have made the interview the more interesting
:) no yet :)
Hi)) Very interesting question)) No, I have not.
No, but it's Jaws (1975) by the way.... anyway I heard about a better one "What would you do if your colleague was a horse?"
I had one where they asked what my top films were, then pointed out that the films I liked were cinematically beautiful and that they had a common thread through most of them romance/tragedies/period dramas which I never realised. gladiator, the painted veil, life of pi, drive.
I haven't but I can see from a psychologists perspective how this could be a good question, you would need more information though.
i havent but its definitely an interesting way to learn about someones tastes in entertainment ?
I was being asked, what my favourite movie was and the reason behind it.
Pues si Marko sobre todo en mi profesion,ya no solo la pelicula si no tambien las series tv
I was asked this question in an interview at HMV.
No I haven't. Have you? What were you being interviewed for if you have been asked that question yourself ?
Hm, never heard. But there were questions about books
Not movie, but recent books read always a good question - to answer and to ask. A good way to open up a conversation about ideas, rather than staid interview questions
The film 'Her'. Would highly recommend if you like dystopian thrillers.
