  • Writing has never been my strong point during my studies. I put in a lot of effort and understood that I was just wasting time. I decided to go to this one https://writingmetier.com site and to consult on how to write my coursework. I think you need talent to write any text. I admire people who have it.
  • Hi, Bex -- I have one small bit of advice, but I offer it with the caveat that many other professional writers might very well offer advice that directly contradicts this: Highlight your versatility. Even if you have one subject or topic that you especially enjoy writing about, try and let potential clients or employers know that you can cover almost anything. In my own writing through the years I've focused on arts and culture (both reporting and criticism), but have also enjoyed writing about science, tech, sports, politics, and business. If you have a "specialty," great. But don't limit yourself to that particular subject. Besides, the essence of writing (in my humble opinion) is curiosity about people, cultures, and the world around us. Being writers gives us license to pursue whatever stories catch our interest. It's pretty amazing, when you think about it. Good luck!
  • Hey Bex,

    Advice:

Show work that represents you and the work you want to do so people looking at it will know what you're passionate about and capable of.

  • Hey Bex, feel free to take a lot at my Dots profile. That's got a good mixture of things I've done over the years. Some for clients. Some personal projects
