  • @Mottie Omideyi Hi Mottie, thanks for taking part, however the survey does state that it is specifically for those in the sectors specified therefore your response is invalid.
We do have an educators survey which has been completed by in school careers leaders and teachers of the subjects which are relevant to the project. If you’d like to find out more, feel free to drop me a DM. Thanks once again :)
  • My industry - youth mentoring organisation helping young people through creativity. We also run creative training programmes for young people who are NEET. It is a great way/tool for them to learn as many are not academic and therefore slip through the net - hence I felt the need to complete your survey.
  • @Robin Howie Hi Robin, thanks so much for taking part! I am just starting out and this is a mammoth task so I’m finding it easier to start small and where I already have connections. Design is so vast and part of a few of the industries I listed, but later on I will look at expanding the list and design will definitely be on there! Thanks so much once again
  • Done!

(Would love to see Design added to the list of vocations and agree with comments below... there’s a really wide set of attributes that lend to an incredibly wide array of roles within creative industries) Thanks and great work!
  • @Elsa Benoldi perfectly put Elsa! Thanks so much for completing the survey. It’s a huge task but the industry is in desperate need of a shake up and part of the answer lies in the next generation.
  • Done it! Dear Leonia I think your intiative is great. It's definitely a journey that needs to start from the school institution. Schools need to allow space to engage and invite leaders from the creative industries to talk to the students about this incredible and multifaceted world. They need to be able to mentor them and to create interest around our industry. I think that by transferring the passion and challenges that we are facing everyday in our job, we'll be able to inspire kids to do the best they can to access the industry smoothly and succesfully. I always think that people who are passionate about what they do, can move the world!
  • @Rebecca W Morris sorry Rebecca! We’re looking to expand but starting off small. Theatre is on our list to look at in the next few months. I’ll make note of your name and get in touch then if that’s ok with you?
  • Great initiative ! I wanted to participate but I dont live in the UK anymore and it didn´t have theatre as an option (my previous career in London).
