Hi everyone :) My friend is a third year anthropology student at the LSE researching experiences of second-generation African immigrants.

She is looking for UK born second generation African immigrants and is particularly interested in:
- Whether or not you speak your native language and your thoughts on language retention across generations
- How parenting styles might be shifting across generations e.g. adopting practices such as gentle parenting
- Cultural identity and what it means to you to be Black and British
If you:
✅ Are a second-generation African immigrant living in the UK
✅ Are willing to share your experiences in a short interview (around 30–45 mins)
✅ Have thoughts on topics like learning your native language, cultural identity, and how parenting styles might shift and change across generations
She'd love to hear from you! All interviews will be confidential and anonymous.
If you’re interested or know someone who might be, please email her at chime.a04@gmail.com.
