Hi there, I'm new to The Dots and I am looking for an opportunity to develop my skills in Film editing and camera.
I am also interested in working for magazines and anything to do with social media.

- Hey welcome to dots, I would suggest applying for internships, there’s lots of them on the dots but also contact any companies specialising in video editing and production yourself even if they arnt advertising.Most of the time I just learn everything via YouTube and develop my portfolio as much as I can through self initiated projects then seek out paid work when I have some in my portfolio. - Hi Annie,The best advice I can offer you is to spend some time thinking about what you clearly want to do...you've listed 4/5 different options there. In my experience in London, people want you to be very clear about what you can do, what you can offer, and what you want to develop. If you're not sure yet and want to try different things, approach each individually, and go in at a very junior level - you'll learn so much!Best of luck!B
