How important is conversation as a freelance creative?

Hey all,

Back again with the latest #NotesOnFreelancing post all about conversations.

Being a freelancer can be lonely, especially with something like photography, and even more so during a time when we’re forced to disconnect from each other. So I wrote about how important it is to remain connected and remember the power of a simple conversation.

How are you keeping connected? Are you in a collective? Virtual co-working? WhatsApp group? Just calling friends every now and then? Something else?

Hope we're all doing good! x

  • @Daniel Drabik @Adam Arkinstall I've also found myself doing the same. I don't think I've ever spoken to as many people or as much as I have in the last few months. Thank you for reading!
  • @Daniel Drabik I’d say the same, I’m an in-house designer atm and the only creative in the business. I’ve been trying to reach out to other creatives and former work friends and colleagues for a bit of a chat about design stuff and just like-minded conversation.

Going to go now and read your article...
