Designed for: Slight Severity
‘A Migraine Crisis’ looks at alleviating the symptoms of migraines by creating soothing tactile spaces from luxurious printed textiles such as satin, velvet, organdy cotton and temperature controlling fabric. Responding to research from clinical neurologists, scientists, patients and surveys I used science and data to inform my practice. During my research, I identified three keywords related to easing the symptoms of a migraine: air, light and weight. Responding to these words where I created three surfaces which are adaptable curtains supporting different levels of symptoms.
