I am a talented Junior Sound Designer with an excellent ear for detail - desperate to get a foot in the door working in Sound Design!

I have over 10 years of experience in creating SFX and Music for various different projects of different scales. My SFX and Music creation has been award nominated on several occasions, and I recently decided to change career and pursue a job/passion in Sound Design. As a professional Actor/Musician for 6 successful years before Covid - I picked up a lot of skills which unknowingly would help greatly in my Sound Design journey - and during lockdown, I taught myself how to use Wwise, Unity and Unreal (along with a whole host of YouTube videos which have been invaluable!)

I know I could make a fantastic addition to a company should they be willing to take me on as a Junior Sound Designer - but am finding it very difficult to find opportunities; despite sending speculative applications to almost every Video Games company in Scotland.

I'm hoping to find some connections and some opportunities here that I may be missing elsewhere, and in general would love to connect with people and create projects etc!

Thanks so much,
Matthew
