  • I second the recommendation for FreeCodeCamp. Also Harvard Introduction to Computer Science https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYierUhIFNQ or https://online-learning.harvard.edu/catalog?keywords=&subject%5B0%5D=100
  • Harvard's free CS50 course is really good for learning core prinicples - https://www.edx.org/course/introduction-computer-science-harvardx-cs50x

FreeCodeCamp is excellent for learning full stack JS - https://www.freecodecamp.org/

Also check out the Codebar events, specifically aimed at helping people that are learning to code - https://codebar.io/

    Good luck!
  • Literally doing the same thing at the moment. There's a couple things:
Google has a bunch of resources & even an app that lets you practice along.
Also try sololearn (2 week trial will give you a solid idea whether you be able to learn that way)
    Otherwise, codecademy.
Feel free to message if you want to know more -- good luck!
  • What Dom said... also what do you want to code? It really depends on what types of aplciations you are interested in. Many developers now puport to be full stack developers and this link might give you a good overall picture of the size of your question and the scoper of options https://www.w3schools.com/whatis/whatis_fullstack.asp
  • There are some great courses out there, depening on what you want to learn! I always found it super useful to code along, rather than just watching someone do it - it gets you used to certain patterns. I can't think of any 'begginner' courses website on top of my head ( idk, Udemy?), but there's plenty of good YT videos too - ideally someone coding something 'real' even if it's super simple, rather than just talking about it. Good luck :)
