I have been actively applying to many creative positions and boards.. Indeed.. The Dots.. If you could.. - Do you know any good job sites?

I initially studied Creative Media Production at Weston College, working on a wide range of topics, including 2D artwork; character, creature and environment design; 3D character, environment and prop modelling; rigging; animation; lighting; rendering; digital painting; game design; storyboarding and narrative.

I then decided to tailor my final year college project around graphic design. Whilst at university I gained experience in Corporate and Environmental solutions with additional knowledge in Advertising & Product Design, implementing the appropriate use of Web & Print. My studies enabled me to learn professional insights into the Adobe Creative Suite.

My ambition to further my technical ability allowed me to work on a multitude of projects that covered, books, packaging, posters, information graphics, logos and corporate identities or signage systems via web design & user interface design.

I am looking for anything creative that pays around £1000 a month full time.

  • Hi Paul,

It seems that you're are well prepared from academic point of view to design industry. Unfortunately this job market is very much spoiled. Thusends of people applying for job, and very ignorant agencies around... Both recruitment and eployers. Try to arrange an interview directly with few agencies in London (recruitment and studios). So they will remember you, having chat in person is always much better. Don't even mention £1000 per month, because cleaning lady in London makes twice as much : ) Start from 22-25K. Prepare excellent and comprehensive portfolio online and digital version on iPad etc. Also have LinkedIn profile reflecting you CV. It's very important.

    Cheers,
    Lech
