I love the fusion of the sound design and music score prevalent in Amazon's Electric Dreams, anyone else notice/enjoy this trend?
The simplicity of sparce unusual sounds often processed heavily to effect these days seems very clever to me. This audio trend can make a bold thematic statement, especially in scifi, and yet stay out of the way of dialogue and sound effects. Any practioners or directors care to comment?
