Learning through the pandemic - tell us about your experiences reaching, supporting, and engaging communities during the COVID-19 pandemic!

Arts Council England are supporting the creation of a set of practical resources to capture the lessons from the work of cultural organisations and/or individual practitioners to support and engage communities over the past 18 months through the pandemic. We are conducting research with Think Tank Common Vision and need your help!

We are looking for cultural organisations and individual practitioners to answer our short survey that is gathering evidence on the different approaches that have been taken to reach audience during the pandemic, what worked, what didn't, and what you need to extend this work in the future.

We’re particularly keen to hear about ways in which, during the lockdowns, arts and cultural organisations have, for example:

• connected with/grown their audiences, or encouraged new ones to them
• helped other organisations or individuals to develop their practice or work
• supported a local community or enabled community groups during the lockdowns
• been met with challenges when connecting or engaging with audiences and communities

Perhaps you used digital technology in new or different ways?
Or used your venue for a new purpose for the community? By contributing you will build an evidence base for the development resources.

The survey should take 5-10 minutes to complete. The answers you provide in this survey will be treated entirely anonymously (unless otherwise agreed by you). The survey will be followed up with optional interviews and workshops in October and November.
