LONDNR Issue 07 OPEN-CALL 🚨 Want to see your work in print? We're doing call-outs for paid work from freelancer writers + photojournalists
After the success of ‘The Surveillance Issue’, our sixth print magazine, (and our first supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England!), we’re now looking for submissions for Issue 07.
Focusing on the media industry, we aim to take the reader inside a world often shrouded in secrecy, rumour, and gossip. In this issue we want to demystify the media and allow our audiences insights into an industry that we encounter every day.
Whether you’re an aspiring writer or a seasoned journalist, we want to hear from you! Anything from a personal story about an experience with the media, to satire, to creative writing, to a hard-hitting essay, send us a pitch of no more than 250 words to: contact@londnr.com
Topics we’ll be looking out for: representation in the media, radio, magazines, media histories & Fleet Street, fashion photography, TV, news coverage, impact of headlines and other media tropes, media transparency, visuals and art in publications (these are just ideas, please don’t hesitate to submit a pitch if the theme of your submission hasn’t been listed!)
LONDNR Magazine is a print a digital culture publication that aims to support writers and other creatives through a variety of community initiatives.

- @Nina-Sophia Miralles So, what are you per word rates? It's very rare for a publication not to have base rates or per word rates from which rates are calculated. What are they?
- @Geoffrey Bunting Hi Geoffrey, thanks for the question. Rates depend on word count and time line.
- @Emily Wilson Yes it is!
- What are the rates?
