- @Raffaele Auriemma Digital Operators / Techs manage all of the digital data created on a photo shoot, from tethered capture to backups, processed previews and file management. The photography equivalent to the role of a DIT on a film set.The difference between an operator vs tech tends to be that techs have their own kit available for hire with the operator.
