  • @Dwayne Bickersteth that’s really helpful thank you, I was thinking it as I wrote it for the last, good to see someone pick me up on it!
  • Hi Keely,

From looking at your website, the first thing I'd say is be aware of what you want the website's theme to be, I like the plain white background but having too many colours and using bold, italic and different font sizes all together can make the website look less professional. I'd personally have all the font in your blue blocks the same size.

The main logo in its blackletter style looks great but I'd recommend placing it where the Sass & Snarl heading with the red underline is. If you could create a header and put the logo in there so it stays at the top of your page while you scroll down, it'd help the aesthetics of your main page at least.

I like that you've got a link to your Spotify playlist and Instagram feed on the website, maybe have individual icons for both platforms at the top of the page near the logo, that way visitors can go straight to where you want them to go away from the website.

Liking too that you have your aims for S&S included, straight to the point of what you're about.

I noticed when I read the Future Is Female segment that you referred to Rebecca by her full name in the title (not a problem) but then referred to her as "Rebecca", "May" and "Rebecca May" in the segment. If you're going to mention someone in a post, stick to same name throughout so here after mentioning her full name in the title, I'd just stick to calling her "Rebecca" throughout the post.

I hope this feedback helps, well done with the website.
  • @Marta Naffa thank you! Totally agree! I’ll definitely look into this over the next week. Amazing advice, thanks so much!

  • First of all, congrats! Love what Sass and Snarl is about and love the modern, upbeat (and a bit quirky) vibe about it.

The fonts in the menu section could be either smaller/ the buttons ('collaborate', or 'blog') with more space in between them to differentiate better.

The website's header and title both have 'Sass and Snarl' - it might be more attention grabbing to have it display only once at the top.

It might also be more attention grabbing to have the blocks - 'Future is Female', 'Network, Network, Network' and 'Read Our Blog' etc - in different, pastel/bright complimentary colours next to each other, or with a simple white background (with a colourful border) instead of the blueish grey running through them.

Hope my insights were somewhat helpful and congrats again!:)
