Proof-reader needed for a short novel (1600 words)

I am looking for a proof-reader for a 1600-word novel I’ve written – it will be included in a self-published photo book, which is my discovery journey of a place through portraits I took there.
The book, which is a labour of love, features 10 stories and poems written by contributors, alongside my own short story.
As said, it’s a personal project so I don’t have a massive budget, but I thought of posting here first, to see if among The Dot’s member there is someone with a flair for creative writing who is willing to proof-read my copy and give me feedback.
Thank you for reading – and looking forward to hearing from you!

  • Hey Rino, this sounds like a really cool project. If you're still looking, I've written for the BBC, Guardian, Financial Times, Conde Nast, Rolling Stone and loads of other places, and I've also worked as an editor for a number of other brands. See my clippings at https://samdavies.contently.com/ and feel free to connect with me on here or email sammooredavies1993@Gmail.com

  • Hi Rino, I work as a content writer and I have edited books before, as well as being an author of my own 100 000 word novel. I would be happy to help for a very modest fee. Please email me at acbcopywriter@gmail.com if you want to arrange a quick google meet so we can discuss it properly.
