  • Go to music meet-ups and networking events to make the best use of your time and connect with a few musicians all at once.

If you can present some info on why and how you or your service/area of work helps musicians then you could even get a platform to present at these events and I have found that offer this free content in this kind of forum tends to convert fairly well. I hold a bi-monthly music meet up through my community Thirty Plus One if you want to talk more about it then please do drop me a dm. Hope that is helpful
  • Hey @Josje Bijl I would definitely keep an active eye/connect with musicians putting posts out on the dots. If there are artists/tracks you like you could also reach out, either to them or their management, and send some ideas of what you might do to bring the sound to life. Likewise with record labels (smaller and more indy ones). The music industry can be quite close knit but I think once you start working in the space you'll meet more and more people which will help fuel the work and hopefully bring new clients your way! Hope that helps, Lex x
  • Hi Josje,

I wish bst of luck with music clients, as per mentioned Creative comission is a place to go. Occasionally they advert on places like Behance, Dots so generic job boards.

Just in note, I really hope you will like to work with musicians howevere under the fairy tale dust excitedness of working with great talents, musicians can be quite challening to work with so start to stretch your patience muscles...:)
  • Creative Commission https://www.creative-commission.com/ is targeted to the music industry. You can register and upload your portfolio for free but need to pay for a subscription to apply. If you have a very specific style it might worth a try.
  • Hi Josje,
I'm a musician from London. I'd love to get in touch and possibly collaborate.

    :)
