Recommendations for female artist music videos, which aren't about women being sexually available.
I'm doing a career advice session with 16 yr olds this week, about careers in commercial filmmaking. We'll talk about the different jobs needed to make a big budget music video happen.
I'd like to use a female artist, but am having trouble finding a video which isn't about the artist being sexually available. Bearing in mind the prevalence of rape culture in teen life, and that I'm a feminist, I really want to feature an exciting, strong, female led video. And one relevant to 16 year olds. Jorja Smith is great, but her videos don't show a range of different production crafts.
Suggestions very welcome. Thanks.

- @Leonard Wolf thanks Leonard
- @Corina Sabou Thanks Corinne but too late for this - lecture is this afternoon. You should submit it to the Shiny awards though!

- Working currently on a big budget music video, that is exactly what you are looking for, but will only be shot this month and released later in the year. You will absolutely love it! Nothing like this has ever been done before. It is creative, exciting, inspiring and there are some important lessons in this production for women of all ages. Maybe we can organize something after the realease.

- Billie Eilish - up until recently she purposefully wore only baggy clothes in her music videos to refrain from being sexualised and she's very young herself so would be relatable for 16 year olds I assume. Here are some examples of her music videos:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1Pl8CzNzCwhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUQl6YcMalghttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tn2S3kJlyUhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBRi6aZJGj4
