Seeking Assistant Director for Low Budget-Sci-Fi Horror Feature Film-"The Corridor Crossing" (Chicago)

Question

“The Corridor Crossing” Plot Summary:

On a lost bet, Alex walks through a cave and stumbles into an alternate universe.  Jake follows him in an attempt to save Alex and get back to the world they belong in.

Compensation:

Deferred Payment, IMDB Credit, Meals

Rate: $150/day deferred for up to 14 shooting days

Payment: $150 deferred per 8-10-hour shooting day.

January 12th, 2022, Wednesday, 5:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m.

January 15th, 2022, Saturday, 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

January 19th, 2022, Wednesday, 5:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m.

January 22nd, 2022, Saturday, 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

January 26th, 2022, Wednesday, 5:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m.

Callback Audition Dates for Casting Our Talent:

January 29th, 2022, Saturday, 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

February 2nd, 2022, Wednesday, 5:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m.

Shoot Dates:

14 days in spring/summer, 2022

Duties:

1. Breakdown the script 
 
2. Work with the Director to create a schedule 
 
3. Generate breakdown sheets 
 
4. Do his/her best to keep shooting days on schedule

Role Requirements:

2. Must show up on time and have great time management skills 
 
3. The ability to pay close attention to detail

4. Have excellent communication skills 
 
5. The ability to plan ahead

6. Exceptional problem solving skills

Director's Bio:

Harry is a passionate filmmaker who has been watching movies since as long as he can remember. Some of his favorite films include, "Memento", "The Dark Knight", "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, “The Shining”, "Alien", etc.  He has seen over 7,000 films and is as crazy about movies as any individual you will ever meet.  Harry has worked on a number of various films, and has written, produced, directed, and edited "515", "Enter the Room", “In the Backseat”, and “Bay for Blood”.
