Thread for MENTORSHIP & PROGRAMS (Please contribute!)
Can we start a thread for all the current mentorship and programs available to young creatives in creative industries?
After becoming a mentor through the Creative Mentorship Network I've realised how helpful services like this are for early career opportunities.
When I started in the industry, it was only due to a series of fortunate events (and years of cutting teeth) that gave me the opportunity to work in the entertainment industry. If I could go back, I would have loved to be a part of programs and mentorship and could have got so much out of it.
So many companies today are playing their part by offering their time to encourage younger creatives to get involved, and I see these as the best learning and networking experiences available today. If these services had more exposure, it could make tomorrow's creative industry as good as it will be, but earlier.
Please do share your knowledge and experiences here, thank you!

- @Jon Payne Ah, thanks for the shout-out Jon!@Kenny Vaughan - SheSays runs a mentoring programme for women in the creative/advertising industry, called Who's Your Momma. I've mentored with them for a few years now and it's a great resource.
- @Emma Alexander runs Wisern, a great source for mentoring and experience!I think there is a space for those that change careers and dont fall in the usual boxes... eg retrained but a little older than most at a junior level.... think within creative spaces... more oppurtunities to learn, part of a community would be a big hit.... freelancers... dont have an office of people to call on....
