Volunteer opportunity to produce work for a charity focussed on raising awareness of cancer in BAMER and lower socio-economic communities

A great opportunity for students, graduates or those looking to add to their portfolio to produce live work for a meaningful cause.

Come and volunteer at Cancer Education UK, a cancer charity focused on raising awareness within the Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic & Refugees (BAMER) and lower socio-economic communities. Our services are defined by three pillars; Awareness, Support and Reintegration.

We bring to light the racial disparities of cancer within the community, raising awareness to locate cancer sooner and in turn, save lives. We offer a range of support to those currently undergoing treatment and help survivors reintegrate back into the community/workplace.

We're looking for volunteer contributors to our digital channels with a variety of skillsets including:
- Graphic Design
- Illustration
- Animation / Motion
- Website Design / Management

We're looking for people who would like to contribute on a long term basis, working ad-hoc around your individual schedules.

All the best,
Cancer Education UK

  • Hi Tom - I'd be interested. Did some volunteer design work during lockdown but looking at picking it up again.
Happy to chat - but also happy for you to prioritize any students/graduates (note to you guys - volunteer design work landed me my first design job back in the day - plus the obvious reason of helping good causes).
