We are looking for designers (people + organisations) who would be interested in getting involved in a really cool project.
The project is run by a social enterprise + pending B corp (not-for-profit), a coffee shop championing British Sign Language by hiring and training deaf people to become baristas.
Customers will face a challenge as they have to follow the guides in the shop to be able to place their order via British Sign Language by following the instructions in the shop. It may be the first time for people having to use non-verbal communication so the visual aspect is going to be key in the project.
We really want to inspire people and other organizations to take action and raise awareness and learn british sign language too.
We putting together a brand identity for the shop and creating other assets like menu boards, signage etc. The shop space is being designed and built at the moment so the visual identity will have to work in line with the shop.

*This is pro-bono work (for people+organisations who can afford to support on a pro-bono basis) however if you are an individual who has recently lost their job or have been missed through the government support for freelancers due to only having one tax return ie started freelancing in 2019 we will accommodate your day rate.
