We're hiring a Video Editor - Join the Curb!

We are an award winning, multi-cultural research and creative consultancy that works with brands to build their cultural fluency.

We're looking for a video editor to support, drive and improve the delivery of our video output, with a particular focus on our YouTube channel - with nearly 90,000 subscribers and 10m views across the channel, we want you to take our channel to the next level.

Key responsibilities:

Internal YouTube Content
• Edit high-quality video content across our platforms, with a particular focus on our expanding YouTube series - Story-led, serialised video content
• Managing post-production workflow from assembling and ingesting raw footage and audio, to sequencing, effects, grading, audio mixing, sourcing and integrating music, graphic design, titling and asset management and design
• Supporting the Social Media Manager in providing social-ready assets and clips for multiple platforms to promote our work
• Maintain a keen and sustained interest and passion for online content in the space we operate in, to ensure that the tone and feel of our output remains at a consistently high standard and maintains a widespread appeal

Internal Social/Research Content
• Supporting the Social Media Manager and Research Comms. Assistant on our internal research-led social content, providing short, dynamic videos for Instagram, as well as support in creating visual assets.

Key skills and requirements:
• Technical proficiency and experience in the following software: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects (Basic Motion Graphics), Photoshop and Audition
• Colour correction and grading experience and skill with Davinci Resolve
• Passionate for and desire for story-led editing - Have proven experience in working with story-led, online, serialised video content
• Confident and proactive in communications with a team - able to take a brief and execute with initiative.
• Demonstrable digital design skills - able to select and create thumbnails from edits, as well as build digital assets and graphics for social media.
• Confident in taking on a creative brief and executing with a high level of independence
• Experience in working with all major video platforms, with particular attention to detail for YouTube and Instagram.
• Experience in media production with understanding of operational requirements of production
• Accustomed to working to strict deadlines, and across multiple projects simultaneously - Highly organised,, with a proactive approach to reaching targets
• Strong attention to detail on all projects and tasks - being able to confidently look through your output and highlight and amend any mistakes
