- Hi Tina!I would recommend going for creating a full company identity and a complete brandbook that would contain:- company logo (every version)-company slogan-fonts-colors-visual guidelines-comunication guidelines (online + offline)-B2B and B2C guidelines-etc... everything you might need to form a consistand brand through all your channels. If you need someone with experience to help you put this together, please feel free to reach out to me, we just created a complete brand guidelines book for an international bicycle company :)Cheers,Gabegabor.madari@amorsamarketing.com

- Maybe share your logo here to get more of an opinion?
- Hi Tina,You should definitely pay for a designer always to create your logo. Canva etc might be fast and cheap. But in the long run for business expansion a custom logo identity is by far the better option.Price is usually dependent on budget scope, level of designer etc but you should be looking for anywhere between £500-£1000.Hope that helps :)Ella

- First of all, unless circumstances are dire, never create a NEW logo as an existing company. If its your first logo - run with it, if not... again unless you have DIRE reason itss almost ALWAYS a bad idea. If you are established, look to modernize or revamp what you have already. Create a new logo from an existing logo.As for should you pay a designer.... well... yeah.... how else would it get created? How much? it depends on the deal you negotiate. I would recommend between $200 and $500 unless you are having a new font created in which case you are looking at several thousand just for that part of the serivce. For $200 to $500 you should be able to request:1 standard logo design3 color schemes for the logo4 different backgrounds (black, white, transparent, and whatever other color you like)1 layered color of creation (this is an image containing all the layers of the final image so you can modify in the future if needed)1 square logo that is vector scalable (2000x2000px to 16x16px should work).1 rectangle logo (usually your logo next to your company name for header grpahics on websites, company letter headers, ect.)Transfer of ALL RIGHTS to the logo template (don't let your logo be a clone of 1000 other logos with modifications... you want all rights and 100% unique). The more you are willing to pay the more of the above ytou should be demanding. This is not an offer to do work, its an answer to your question to help you find the right people.

- Hi Tina, if you can allocate budget towards paying a designer to develop your identity then yes, it’s worth while paying a designer! Look for a designer that specialises in Branding.I build brands for clients and I’ll be happy to guide you so you make the right choice. I’ll send a DM to connect.
- You should look for a specialist indeed, but not just a logo designer. Look for a brand strategist and designer that can help you structure and define your brand strategy before going for the design, that way the visual identity that is going to be created will be more assertive and accurate, following your brand essence and message, and creating a more meaningful connection with your target audience.
