What website is the best for uploading/creating a personal portfolio?

  • Hey, from experience, Adobe portfolio is best, it's free unlike Squarespace or Wix and does the same needs you're after if you are looking for portfolio exposure and not starting a business or wanting to pay for a site just yet.
  • I've used Squarespace for a couple of years now, it's very user friendly and doesn't take too long to get to grips with! I'd definitely recommend buying your own domain name as the default Squarespace URL's are quite long, and it looks a little cleaner when sending it across to people!

Cons: it's about £8 (ish) a month to host and their are free alternatives mentioned below (like Behance, Cargo Collective, Wix)

A little later down the line I'd consider something like wordpress, huge customisation options and a real stepping stone for SEO improvements- just a bit more of a learning curve to use it!

  • I've used Wix! Squarespace is easy to use, as well as Adobe portfolio. I've recently found Cargo which I will now be transferring over to use.
  • Squarespace for me, although if you simply want to upload a portfolio without the building of it, Behance is as good as anything. A lot of designers use it for that purpose already and the hosting is taken care of. Depends how much you want to have your own unique domain.
  • Personally I'd go for Wix as you have a lot of flexibility. Now there are some other good platforms such as Adobe Portfolio, Wix, Wordpress etc.. Also if you need a hand with it, feel free to dm me.
  • Hi Tamay, hope you are well.

A few options - WordPress (I use), Squarespace, Wix, Adobe Portfolio, Cargo Collective. Test drive a few and see what works for you :)

    Keep safe and take care.
