  • @Jess Duffy Thank you for your help :) The Modern Witchcraft Project is what I have recently started during my last year of University, however, it is unfinished due to lockdown. I hope to finish it once this is over with more people around England. With the section on Layla, there are fewer images than my Rob section so I wasn't sure if it would look more uneven having them together. Maybe it would be better to have just the Rob section until I can complete my project further. Thank you again for helping me :)
  • @Guillaume Lechat What layout do you feel would be more professional and appropriate for my documentary style work? I plan to make more work when I can, as i've only just discovered what I want to do. So there's a lot of space for development and improvement. How would you suggest I can optomize what I have so far?
  • @Zeinab Batchelor Thank you for the advice. I'm hoping to add more work once I can again. I've only just discovered what style I want to do so I've taken a lot of work i've made in the first two years of university down. For the Menu page would you advise not having a scroll through menu with diptych's?

Thank you for your help :)
  • Hey Natalie
Really great start! Your photos are great but i'm not sure about the layout . I think you also need more projects! But it's a great start with lots of potential! I offer online coaching if you're interested :) https://www.guillaumelechat.com/coaching
  • Hi Natalie,
I would not use black as your background colour as it can be overwhelming. As previously mentioned by others, having more work would help flesh the website out and also maybe seperating them on the home page as opposed to showing all your projects there, will neaten it up slightly whilst also spacing them out.
  • @Gabriel Varaljay That would be amazing. Would it be possible to have more information on this online magazine? :)
  • @Natalie Wyborn Sure thing, email us at collaborations@morethebrand.com or

  • If you like you can write a blogpost about your work and we can place it in our online magazine. Good SEO and you will have backling to your website. Also you should place some of your picture on unsplash.com - it's a very fast growing community nowadays. Good luck!
  • @Ernest Bannister Thank you so much for your feedback :) I would like to talk to you about this in more detail?

Thank you for your help :)
  • @Troy judkins Thank you for your feedback! I deleted a few photos because I didn't want to display any that wouldn't be strong enough. A few of my projects are a bit imcomplete due to lockdown currently. I'm hoping to add more when this is over. Thank you for the help :)
  • Natalie, I think it's a great start the only thing I would say is that you just need more work on there. The projects need more volume but the work and the overall look of the website is really good.

  • Natalie,
Photography sites are difficult to me becasue you have to showcase your talent (i.e., the photographs) but you want to do it in a way that does not come off like a power point presentation... very difficult. I like that the website is simple which is good. However, unless there is a meaning I would change the background from black to white. I think there is a bit too much space between images and text etc. If you want to talk further we can otherwise it looks like its going in the right direction.

If you're interested, we would love to setup a voice or video call to discuss how we could support each other.

Looking forward to connecting with you.

  • Hey there Natalie.
    So what I’d suggest Is:

Add more photos across the board per project not too much nor too little.

Mention less equipment and more of the project or the person within said project.

This doesn’t have to be done but Have more personal content that means something to you so others looking at your work can understand your personality a bit more.

    Hope this helps!
