Organised by TATE
Whether you’re starting your homeschooling journey, keeping little ones busy or just want to get creative, we’ve pulled together five super simple activities to try at home.
Let us know how you get on @tate_kids!
1. Make marbled paper
Use shaving foam and ink or paint to create swirly patterns in the abstract style of German artist Gerhard Richter.
2. Make an op art pot plant
Paint a pot inspired by artist Bridget Riley using lines, zig-zags and spots.
3. Make a friendship bracelet
Weave an arty bracelet inspired by Anni Albers's giant textile patterns.
4. Make a chocolate artwork
Create your own Jackson Pollock drip painting (which is also delicious to eat!)
5. Make a spin painting
Have fun creating splats and splashes of paint inspired by artist Damien Hirst.
