The next guest in Animade's new series of online creatives talks, All Ears will be kicked off by the incredible Rachel Reid!
Rachel is a freelance 2D/3D character animator working in Detroit, Michigan. After graduating from the College for Creative Studies with a B.A in Animation, Rachel began her career interning at Gunner, a small animation studio in Detroit. There she was responsible for all character animation for both in-house short films and client projects. Just over four years later, Rachel stepped into the world of freelance animation, working with studios such as Oddfellows, Titmouse, Hornet, and Chromosphere.
All tickets are FREE, but limited. With each ticket, you can also make an optional donation to Soar Detroit, an organisation providing one-to-one literacy tutoring to young people in Detroit. Animade will then match all donations made through purchase on Eventbrite - so support a great cause, and come join us!
Digital doors will open at 14:00 for a 14:05 start, and the talk will include BSL interpretation, and live-captions. Please be logged in and ready to join beforehand! While we’d love to see your faces, this is a relaxed environment so if you’d rather keep your camera off, that’s completely fine. Just so you know, we will also be recording the event, and making it available for free on our website.
All Ears is a way to connect and feel part of our creative community. A time to be inspired and top-up our creative juices. This is a space to be curious and learn together.
