If you’re thinking about launching your own company, have recently done so, or are already smashing it but could do with a helping hand from our line-up of experts, AllBright x Startups Magazine’s School for Start-Ups is for you.

Each weekly session will be led by Startups Magazine Editor, Anna Flockett, and an expert guest. Each session will be jam-packed with tangible takeaways, lots of networking, and team exercises. Our vision is to provide a roadmap for success for any and every start-up.

Each session will be 60 minutes long with Anne interviewing an expert in each field. We recommend you attend all 4 sessions to reap the benefits.

Thurs 24th 10am – - The School For Start-Ups: Demystifying Business Models
Business models are key to long term business success and as an entrepreneur, it’s vital that you use yours to its full potential. You’ll learn from the ground up what business models are, why you need one, and exactly how to create one.

In breakout rooms, you’ll be set practical tasks and have the chance to discuss with and learn from other members, sharing your business concepts and models with your sisterhood.

Thurs 1st July 10am - Managing Your Finances
This event will introduce you to key financial information and gives you a chance to discuss your ideas with others.

We will cover key financial information: sales revenue forecast; profit and loss forecast; and cash flow forecast while also going over how to analyse and interpret financial performance and look at how to increase profitability.

Thurs 8th July 10am – Getting The Right Side Of Business Law
This session will help members confront any legal issues they may come across in the first steps of building a business or taking that business online. Our focus will be on arming you with the tools to get your business off the ground and ensuring your precious intellectual property is protected. This talk will be interactive, and we want it to be of most use to you, so please do come with any questions that are keeping you stuck or stumped.

Thurs 15th July 10am - From Marketing Fundamentals to Brand Identity
This session is designed to transform your marketing skills, taking you through the basic fundamentals of marketing such as digital marketing, social media and CRM. You’ll also explore brand identity to round out your base knowledge, looking at how to manage creative assets that tie into the branding and communications plan.
