International Women's Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.

To mark the occasion Art Fund members are invited to join Katrina Brown, Art Fund Trustee and director of The Common Guild, Glasgow in conversation with Turner Prize nominees, artists Christine Borland and Rosalind Nashashibi, and Zoé Whitley, director of the Chisenhale Gallery, London.

The panel will discuss their careers to date, share their perspectives on the UK’s cultural sector, and discuss how museums and galleries can respond to the International Women’s Day 2021 campaign theme: #ChooseToChallenge.

Jenny Waldman, director of Art Fund will introduce the event and panel, and invite the audience to get involved with the discussion by asking their own questions.

Please note this event will take place as a Zoom webinar. RSVP by midday on the day of the event (10 March) to receive your joining instructions and link in advance of the event.
