Two Cities
Soho Room and Dicken’s Room
A group photography exhibition in partnership with Gaika Tavares and curated by Nnenna Maxine Odumodu, Funmi ‘Flohio’ Ohiosumah and Sahar Bano Malik. Beyond the glitz and glamour, central London has been home to a multitude of underserved and underseen communities since the Victoria era. Their voices remain unheard and their stories, in their own words, are often unwritten. What if we encouraged and empowered them to tell those stories?
This group photography exhibition includes the artists China Marie, Dolapo Olaribigbe, Emily Nkanga, Paulius Klisionis and Stefon Grant. The artists were asked to respond to Charles Dickens novel ‘A Tale of Two Cities’.

Charlotte Streeter
Looking Up
The Garden Room
Charlotte Eve Streeter, (b. 1988) is a photographer born in Northampton and based in South East London.
During lockdown Charlotte looked up. At a time when society was restricted with where we could go and what we could see, Charlotte explored collage as a practice, combining images she had previously taken to create new places. Her sky series, first recording the occasional line of flight left by a plane, and then moving on to birds, towers, electrical lines and clouds. Each work is an imagined space and place, but also deeply recognisable to anyone who takes the time to look up.

DollyOlli
Garden
Dollyolli challenges the ridiculousness of how serious Art and public spaces have become. They reject and refuse the current tastes of colour and seriousness in Western art, culture, and the public environment. DollyOlli prefer living in colour and in a playful environment. Producing playful, comic, colourful and complex large-scale sculptures that are often finished in bright colours. Their artwork explores difference and otherness.

Gabriella Anouk#SlimeSeries
Monro Room
After many years of drawing commissions and working in different media and methodologies, Gabriella developed her new expressive #SLIMESERIES during 2021. She uses pencil techniques, which require hundreds of hours of dedicated time to complete each piece.
