Alec is the founder and editor-in-chief of Intern, a platform that empowers the next generation of creatives to build their dream careers. He’s on a mission to make the creative industries more representative and is a strong believer against unpaid and underpaid internships for young people. His online course “The Price is Right” helps graphic designers and freelancers to price their work.

Join us for an hour-long talk where you'll hear about the refreshing work being carried out by Alec at Intern Magazine and his take on the theme of 'brave new normal', followed by a Q&A session at the end!

As final year Graphic Design students at Manchester School of Art, we're getting ready to celebrate the end of our university journey and begin our transition into industry. We are currently raising money to self-fund our degree show, which will be a celebration of all our hard work over the last three years.

We have been holding these talks to raise money for our end of year degree show. Titled 'Brave New Normal', our degree show explores the hard work and determination it has taken to continue to be creative and push ourselves during this difficult time.

All proceeds raised will go towards the funding of our degree show.
