Art Unlocked is a new online event series brought to you by Art UK in collaboration with Bloomberg Philanthropies. Each week, different museum and gallery curators and directors from across the UK will deliver a 30-minute talk on selected works from their collection.

For our latest talk, join Art UK and Dr Christopher Warleigh-Lack, Property Curator at Mount Stewart House & Gardens, for an exciting exploration of some notable works from this beautiful National Trust collection on 28th July 2021, 5:30pm.

Art Unlocked is delivered over Zoom Webinar. You will be sent the link to join a few days before the talk is scheduled to take place. There will be a short Q&A session after the talk.

The talk is free but there is the option to donate to Art UK and Mount Stewart House & Gardens alongside your ticket. Any donations are much appreciated and go towards supporting the UK's national collection.

About National Trust at Mount Stewart

Mount Stewart has been home to the Stewart family, Marquesses of Londonderry for over 250 years. After a major restoration project, it now reflects the era when Charles, 7th Marquess of Londonderry, and his wife Edith, made it their much-loved Irish home from the 1920s to the 1950s.

One of several family houses, Mount Stewart remained Edith’s favourite. In redesigning the house and boldly planting the now famous gardens, she breathed new life into Mount Stewart and transformed it into a colourful and scent-filled sanctuary for her family illustrious friends who came to relax and escape public life.
