Want to try new things and explore your creativity? Come along to explore our site, join a creative workshop, and learn about our Arts & Wellbeing programmes.

Arts and Wellbeing programmes at the Southbank Centre strive to offer exciting opportunities to try new things, express yourself and explore your creativity.
They are an invitation for joy, fun and connection, on-site at our building, out in our local communities, and from the comfort of your own home.
Sarah, Maya and Emma from the Arts & Wellbeing team invite you for a morning of coffee, conversation and creativity. Come along and explore our site, participate in a creative workshop, and hear more about our regular programme of events, workshops, and projects open to everyone, all year round.
You might be one of our local neighbours living nearby, or a local organisation based in the area – whether you’re interested in getting more information about programmes for yourself, or for people you support, you’re welcome to join us.
On the day you can take a special out-of-hours tour with librarians at the National Poetry Library and catch the last days of its Future Cities exhibition; meet with the Classical Music team to learn about our concert programme; and participate in a creative workshop with artist Rhiannon Armstrong.
Refreshments are provided throughout.
And why not make a day of it by dancing the afternoon away at September’s edition of Mix & Move, our monthly social dances?
At 1pm on The Clore Ballroom, Level 2, Royal Festival Hall, we’re joined by Jacky’s Jukebox for an introduction to ballroom dance steps.
